Bolt and Nut Checker

This is one of the slickest gauges I have seen in quite a while. It will check the size and even thread pitch on just about any common nut or bolt you run across (from #6 to 5/8), as well as help you identify metric fasteners from 3 to 22 mm. Stubs on each end function as nut sizers – slip a nut over the stub and the gauge will help you determine the size and whether it is fine or coarse thread. Size a bolt by slipping it through one of the sizing holes, then comparing it to the thread pitch gauge on the back (10 TPI to 40TPI United States Thread Pitch, or .70 to 2.5 Metric). You can even use the gauge to size dowels or drill bits, and there is a handy inch scale on one edge, and metric scale on the other. Imported.
