McFeely’s™ dowels are manufactured using only high-grade Appalachian hardwoods and are dried for months in a yard and finished on a kiln to a target 8% moisture.
When you’re storing dowels, it’s important to do so in as stable an environment as possible. Recently, McFeely’s™ made the decision to move away from storing dowels in our own warehouse and to use a top-notch U.S. manufacturer to ship these direct to you. To ensure package integrity, dowels do have package minimums which we cannot waive or mix and match. Allow 2-3 weeks delivery. Made in USA.

I make hobby horses and the dowel you sent are great. don't need to sand them as they are already smooth to the touch and they don't appear to have very many knots. the sizes are very consistant so i don't have to whittle and they aren't from some foreign country that is chopping down a rain forest. Make in American is great!Thanks

Excellent dowels

2nd time I've ordered from them (55) all. Great for my application, but could certainly be used for any other. Just store them properly when you get them. Last order I had over 6 months and the last one was just as good as the first one.
