Brass screws are so soft that you need everything working in your favor when installing them. That’s why Square Drive makes so much sense. Drill a properly sized pilot hole (this is extremely important!), and these solid brass screws will drive as easily as any of our other Square Drive screws–no slippage. However, if you don’t drill the pilot hole, you can be assured that they will snap just like any other solid brass screw. Brass is just very soft. Our assortment contains a total of 600 Cut thread Flat Head solid brass Square Drive screws – 100 screws in each of 6 popular sizes, plus 2 hand drivers, and 2 driver bits.
