Big cabinet shops generally have expensive machines to drill the carcase assembly and hinge mounting holes used in the 32mm euro-style cabinet system. Smaller shops, or recreational wood-workers not specializing in this construction
method are left to rig up all sorts of templates and fixtures to make the task somewhat foolproof.
The system uses a guide rail with index holes spaced on 32mm centers. The router fits on a sub-base that rides on the guide rail and uses an index
pin to engage the guide rail holes for precise spacing. Carbide tipped dowel drills and hinge cup boring bits are designed for operating speeds of up to 22,000 rpm and produce incredibly clean holes. Positioning bars and end stops precisely locate the guide rail on the work piece for consistent end and edge spacing. Order rails separately. Made in Germany.
