Comments about Festool MFK 700 Modular Router:

I discovered that my 37mm diameter hose wouldn't fit some of the unit's dust extraction ports and I was forced to purchase a 36mm. This was alright as I noticed the 37mm was plugging up the shroud on my OF 1400 DQ on it's last outing. I also found that this unit doesn't lend itself very well to generic router bits in certain configurations. Even though I haven't used it for it's intended purpose yet, and I'm certain it will no doubt be very much like the "Domino" learning curve, in time I'll find more & more uses for it. I would like to recommend some excellent reference & how to books available on Festool that I found very helpful.
