Random Orbit Sanders are specifically designed for the critical last sanding step before applying the finish. The ES 125EQ features the JetStream dust extraction system which maximizes abrasive life, a sanding pad brake to prevent scratches when starting or removing the sander from the workpiece, stepless electronic speed control to allow precise matching of power to the task at hand, and fatigue-reducing ergonomic design. This is the perfect “palm” sander for overhead or vertical surfaces.

Performance wasn’t sacrificed to achieve the small size, though. It has a 5" diameter sanding pad, and a 3/32" stroke to provide the most swirl-free possible surface. At only 2.4 lbs, its light weight makes it easy to work overhead or on vertical surfaces, yet it still has enough heft to be effective on horizontal surfaces. Like other Festool Random Orbit Sanders, the ES 125 E uses StickFix(hook and loop)abrasives and features electronic variable speed control for optimum performance on a wide variety of materials.
