Most respirators are 95% efficient at trapping airborne, non-oil containing particulates (like saw or sanding dust). These Moldex respirators are 99.97% efficient and are NIOSH-approved. If you are extremely sensitive to air-borne dust, these respirators may allow you to resume your hobby in safe fashion (of course, anyone suffering from a known respiratory ailment should ask their physician whether these respirators will provide sufficient protection).

A flexible, mesh shell on this respirator helps to maintain shape and allow for "breathing room" between the respirator and your nose and mouth area. That same shell also helps to increase the service life for this item to up to five times what is typical for a conventional mask.

Comfort is enhanced by an integral valve that allows heated and humid air to escape the mask quickly. When it's time for lunch, simply loosen the stretchable-cord Moldex Handystrap ® and let the respirator hang around your neck until its next use. Made in USA.

          Very happy with this heavy duty mask, fits snugly even though I have a beard. Single heavy duty strap won't break as straps on most other maks I've tried tend to do after a few uses.

            This porduct is so much better than most lightweight mask. The straps disconnect and adjust easily and it keeps out all of the dust and pollen. Seems expensive, but to me it is worth the extra cost.
