Comments about Festool 28 Tooth Carbide Tipped Saw Blade:
This is the blade to use on melamine, MDF, sub flooring, Pergo or other mad made flooring. According to Festool technical support, it is a harder grade of carbide and lasts MUCH longer than other Festool blades. In my use, it has twice the life before it needs sharpening. This is a triple tooth design and when fresh it gives very clean cuts. With use there is some chip out on melamine. The triple tooth cut of other Festool blades is gives a slightly cleaner cut but they do not last nearly as long before needing sharpening.
