Crown Stop with Base Extension for Kapex KS 120 Sliding Compound Miter Saw.
Crown stops support nested workpieces at any angle. Base extensions provide enhanced material support to the left or the right, and enable additional clamping possibilities when used with Festool FS clamps. Festool strongly recommends using 2 of these (one for each side of the Kapex).

Comments about Festool Crown Stop with Base Extension:
These (you need to buy two) attach to the Kapex body by means of clamp that is screwed tight with a large knob. They add a modest amount of exension on both ends of the table, and provide an adjustable crown stop. The adjustable stop allows you to position the crown at the spring angle, to avoid compound angles--you just have to get the miter right. A problem with the design is the clamping system--you can't really clamp tight enough to prevent the little tables from deflecting downward at their ends under the weight of all but the lightest workpieces. (Other miter saws have extension wings that use sliding rods.) The big problem, though, is the price--at [$]/pair, it isn't worth it. You can easily fabricate a suitable extension for the Kapex that does a much better job than these.
