Used to create parallel cuts on both sides of the saw. When flipped over it becomes an extension table. Rip capacity from the blade side to 11-13/16" (300mm) and on the motor side to 3-3/4" (95mm).

Comments about Parallel Guide for TS 55 EQ Plunge-Cut Saw:
The trailing end cap stands a bit proud and snags when starting the cut--usually Festool wouldn't require a modification for a tool to work properly, so maybe I'm not getting something. Also a tip on the best way to make sure the rail is parallel to the blade would be helpful.
