Comments about Carbide Spiral Bit (6 mm D x 16 mm L) w/ 8 mm Shank:
I bought this bit explicitly for my new Festool MFK 700 router to do thick edging on commercially veneered plywood. In the horizontal configuration the space available is extremely limited and I wasn't able to find a generic tool that met my requirements. I opted for this short small diameter spiral bit reasoning that at high RPM the skewed cut would most likely give me the smoothness and waste extraction I desired. This bit looks very similar to the Domino bits I have and I'm fairly certain I'll get the desired results. The MFK 700 is a very sophisticated piece of machinery that I'm finding to be quite an adventure in exploring it's future applications.
