Comments about 1-7/16'' x 11.5' Antistatic Suction Hose:
When I first noticed that my 27mm hose didn't fit the recently purchased MFK 700 EQ router dust extraction shroud properly I began to research the problem. In addition, my OF 1400 EQ router had been plugging up it's dust removal shroud because of large chips also as a result of using the 27mm hose. Then I recalled a book I read relating to Festool products was highly recommending using the 36mm hose for plunge saws and routers where a higher CFM with no hose attachment protrusion is desirable. Now I really like the ease in which I can switch hoses for different applications and how easily they can be stowed out of the way when not in use. Really great system!
