Comments about #8-32 Insert Driver:
Smooth pilot is a loose fit in #8 threaded insert; same drive tool is specified for 4mm and 5mm metric inserts. Used horizontal boring machine to drill correct size hole in 5/4 cherry, tool would not drive stainless steel insert straight into hole, because the tool is a loose fit in the insert. Drive tool lugs tore up insert slot. Insert drive tools with threaded pilots are on the market, do yourself a favor and buy the better tool.

This driver doesn't fit the 10-24 inserts. Your better off with a big screwdriver
