Electronic Hearing Protection

Ideal for environments with hazardous noise and intermittent impulse sounds. These are really cool because they have an active microphone meaning that you can have a normal conversation with the phone on as the microphone picks up the sound. However, when the sound level is over 85 dB, the system will actively reduce the noise by 23 dB. Ideal for use in environments with hazardous noise and loud intermittent unexpected sounds. Earmuffs have an electronic circuit that amplifies low-level sounds and limits loud noises to a safe 82 dB and lower. They are OSHA (40CFR211) and European Standards (EN352-1:2002 and EN352-4:2001) compliant and run on 2 AA batteries (not included). Condor Brand. Imported.

        Comments about Dayton Electronic Earmuffs:

        Could not tell the difference in sound with it turned on or off at normal noise level. Reduced noise level with tool running, but as tool shut down, sound only came from one side and that was the side with the on/off switch.
