Dayton 5 x 6" Horizontal & Vertical Metal Cutting Band Saw
If you’re tired of cutting metal with a portable saw – this is the next best step! Cut a variety of materials ranging from cast iron, steel, bronze, aluminum, etc…as well as plastics by using the three blade speeds: 80, 120 and 200 fpm (feet per minute). Since metal takes longer to cut than wood – we’re giving you a break with gravity controlled down feed that regulates the rate at which the saw cuts by simply adjusting a coil spring tension. When it’s done – it’ll automatically shut off – or, you can do it the old fashioned way and use the on/off toggle switch. This is a dry cut saw – so no cutting fluids are needed.
