Sharpen High Speed Steel, Carbide Tipped, Cobalt and Titanium Drill Bits!
Are you tired of working harder than your drill? Are you tired of leaving burn marks on your wood from drilling too slow and heating up the bit? Then leave the drudgery behind by putting a brand new edge on all those old drill bits lying around your shop.
The versatile Drill Doctor 500 X will sharpen your dull drill bits from 3/32" to 1/2" in diameter (English, metric, and letter sizes) and both 118 degree and 135 degree point angles with the standard equipment chuck (DD-2100). An optional chuck (DD-0100)allows you to sharpen bits up to 3/4" diameter. You can sharpen High Speed Steel Jobber Bits, Carbide Tipped Bits, Masonry Bits, Cobalt, and Titanium drill bits. You can even add a split point to any drill bit to increase your drilling speed by back cutting the cutting edge of the bit.
One piece alignment improves the precision of the ground angles. Longer jaws with guides hold the bits more securely so that even the smallest do not twist during sharpening. The Drill Doctor 500 X has a cast aluminum shuttle for durability. It comes with the 3/32" to 1/2" chuck (DD-2100), a hub wrench (DD-1340), 180 grit diamond wheel (DD1320), user's guide and instructional DVD.

Comments about Drill Doctor 500 X:
It does a great job. I really am impressed. Very easy to use. The only drawback is that it will not do brad points.
