Of all the hand tools available, there may be none more satisfying than a hand plane. From the 1st curl of wood to the final, finished surface, a hand plane just about typifies all that is right and noble about wood-working. Footprint planes include smart features like a grey cast iron body for long life and a stained, Beechwood handle that feels right and gives comfortable and positive control. Primarily used for heavy material removal and squaring of rough lumber. 14" x 2".
Note: Although these are part of the Footprint line, they are made in China due to the cost of construction.
