Jackson Safety Dual-Segment Readers

1439

Item No: 1439

Product Information

If you're used to using the typical bifocal, you know that neck strain is commonplace. These dual-segment readers do a lot to eliminate that entirely. These are great for plumbers, electricians, framers, trim carpenters, mechanics, painters and anyone needing a vision boost occasionally. Look up or down for 'near vision' and quit using your neck to adjust the diopter.

Unfortunately, replacement lenses are not available. Imported.

Great product without purchasing a pair of prescription grade safety glasses from an optometrist.

Comments about Jackson Safety Dual-Segment Readers:

I wear bi-focal glassses but I'm having some difficulty adjusting to these safety glasses. Have to move my head up & down a lot to see correctly. However, this may just be temporary as I use them.

Comments about Jackson Safety Dual-Segment Readers:

I like these safety glasses with the bi-focals up and down. I wear them all the time. The only draw-back is, is that they scratch to easy, but I will buy another pair when I can no longer see out of this pair. Good product for me.

Comments about Jackson Safety Dual-Segment Readers:

This is a great idea; like a previous reviewer I've had cataract surgery and am also challenged by arthritis and fibromyalgia which limit my flexibility and endurance. These make working overhead easier and thus faster. Being retired, I often simply put them on in the morning for the newspaper and leave them on all day, hanging them from a neck strap when not needed. Here's what I'd like to see improved, in order of importance: interchangeable lenses with two or three tints in addition to clear, i.e. brown/amber, smoke, yellow, blue – a sunglass version, preferably brown/amber tint, if previous wish doesn't happen – +1.00 and/or +1.25 diopter – dump the gloss black frames and use a flat black or charcoal finish.
