Comments about 7mm x 70mm JCBW Screws, Brass Plated Steel, Hex Drive:
Decided to build the workbench that I saw in an issue of Shop Notes. These screws were recommended as an attractive alternative to lag bolts[...] The screws hold really well, but you need a metric allen wrench to install them. I followed the guidelines on pilot hole diameter and they went in just fine. I also dipped them in petroleum jelly to make them go in easier. The broad head means you don't need a washer.

I am but a simple woodworker, and while I appreciate your concern for the uses and conveniences of your products, I would not order from McFeely's if I didn't think that their products were shoddy or of poor design. In the future, I will continue to buy McFeely's products based on my needs, and the ability of McFeely's to meet those needs based entirely on their good reputation. When I pay by credit card and receive the goods with a packing slip, I do not require a separate invoice mailed at a later date. Save this overhead of time and money. Otherwise, your service, people and product are second to none.
