Heavy-Duty for Strong JointsJoint Connector Bolt Wood Screws (JCBW) are used when you need a strong butt joint that requires a decorative, low profile head. These are commonly found on Ready to Assemble RTA furniture. This fastener is roughly equivalent to a #14 wood screw and it’s deep wood threads really offer great holding power. Designed for use in predrilled holes (3/16 softwoods, 7/32 hardwoods). Critical Details: Head measures 17mm (approx. 11/16) x 2mm (5/64) and has a decorative beveled edge. Low carbon plated steel. 4mm Hex Recess. Made in Taiwan.

Comments about 7mm x 60mm JCBW Screws, Statuary Bronze Plated Steel, Hex Drive:
I used these screws to but some cabinetry together (using butt joints) for my wood shop. These screws work solidly, look nicer and are half the cost of comparable screws from [@]. Follow directions regarding pre-drilling to a "T."
