You’ll be amazed at the difference an auger point makes on a Square Drive stainless steel screw. These 305 grade stainless steel screws are great for use with pressure treated wood or premium materials like redwood and wester red cedar because they are truly self-drilling. Passivated type 305 stainless steel provides even more corrosion resistance than the usual type 304 stainless steel (a bit of nickel really helps). Be sure to test or predrill when you install at the end of a board. Requires a #3 Driver Bit. Note the non-standard head diameters. Made in Taiwan. Head diameter: .430"
