1200 Square Drive Screws for the Home Handyman

This assortment contains 1200 Square Drive wood screws and the driver bits to fit with both a #1 and #2 square drive bit so that you can start using these fasteners immediately! Whether you need to fix a broken kitchen table, rehang a door, install a window air conditioner, tighten up a squeaky floor, or even build an entertainment center for the den, the screw you need is probably in this wood screw assortment. Optional heavy-duty plastic storage bins are self-stacking for workbench convenience, or they may be wall mounted using the supplied brackets. Our Flat Head 'Do-It-Yourself Dozen' screw assortment includes only our unplated, hardened steel Robertson® Square Drive screws. Combo Drive screws are not included.

I'm a set in my ways kinda guy,Hate change.I will have to admit this is for the best.I've been to the point where I carried a small brush with me if my project required more then a couple screws. When the magnetic bit holder got nearly plugged with the slag from torn up screw heads I'd brush it off to enable the bit to fully engage the next screw. Never again.These are a positive drive screw head and I have had NONE disengage the bit even in some of the hardest woods I've worked with.The only bad thing I can think of is me not finding out about them before I did and being too stubborn to switch asap. Go ahead fellas...I won't tell.BTW The "Do it yourself assortment" comes with bits and hand drivers that, where I live, cost almost a third of what the whole package cost here at McFreelys.
