Eliminate Volcanoes in Composite Decking, Now with Deck-Matching Painted Heads!
Instead of mashing down the volcanoes that form around the head of a standard flat head screw installed in composite materials, use a screw that eliminates them altogether! The special thread pattern of our Double-Dekkers pulls the waste material back into the hole so that the head simply covers it up. These new screws have Star drive (6 Lobe) recesses. While they do not have the “stick fit” of Square Drive, the unique recess does center the bit very nicely, and like Square Drive, driver bit cam-out is virtually eliminated. Imported.
