#10 x 2-1/2" 305 S.S. Color Coated Head Screws-Brown

Transverse threading on these stainless steel screws eliminates "mushroom" effect common to composite decking installed using standard deck screws without pre-drilling by preventing debris from the hole from forming a mound around the screw head. The special head design further prevents a "mushroom" effect by trapping and pulling back any residual debris under the head. Screws also feature an auger point for easier, faster entry.

Screws are made of 305 Stainless Steel for superior protection against staining and corrosion in outdoor applications. Approved for use with ACQ treated lumber.

350 count "Deck Pack" boxes contain screws for 100 square feet of decking, 1,750 count "Pro Packs" contain screws for 500 square feet of decking.

Note: Due to usage variables we cannot guarantee these screws against corrosion. When using acidic woods, such as Redwood or Western Red Cedar, or building in seaside applications 316 stainless steel screws are recommended.
