This patent pending deck fastener is perfect for use with premium materials like Composite Wood Decking (Trex for example) or tropical hardwoods such as Ipe. These auger point, 305 stainless steel screws feature epoxy coated heads in colors selected to blend nicely with the commonly available deck materials. Seating the screw slightly below the surface will minimize the inevitable wear associated with foot traffic. Made in Taiwan. Approximately 89 screws per pound.

used these screws for a hardwood deck. had to pre-drill, but worked well. be careful though because they are stainless steel, they are not as strong as other screws so you have to be careful not to strip them or twist the heads off. but that is nothing bad about these screws, that is just the price you pay when you need to use stainless. very happy overall with these screws.
