square drive screws are the easiest to use for installations in hard woods. never have to worry about rounding out the cross tip drive on the end of the screw. delivery was way ahead of the estimated delivery times
Great for woodworking projects
By Steve

I use these screws for any indoor woodworking project that calls for screws. I originally purchaced them in an assortment pack several years ago and now keep them on hand in sizes 6, 8, and 10 in various lengths. Before purchasing this type of screw, I used drywall screws and had many problems with the threads stripping or the screw head breaking. This fastener solved the problems as long as you follow McFeely's advice for pilot holes. Always use pilot holes, especially in hardwoods.
