#10 x 2-1/2" Stainless Steel Double Dekker Composite Deck Screws

Composite wood decking such as Trex™ is gaining popularity because it installs easily, looks great, and doesn’t require much maintenance. The material accepts screws well but leaves a “volcano crater” around the screw head. Many installers sink the screw below the surface and pound this material back over the screw for a virtually invisible installation. Now there is a screw that installs cleanly in one step! The unique features of our Double Dekker™ make it perfect for working with Trex™, Timbertech™, Fiberon™, Boardwalk™ and other composite materials. The coarse wood threads at the tip have our ProMaster™ saw tooth design to power through the composite materials cleanly and reduce driving torque. The standard deep threads in the middle provide exceptional holding power in framing lumber.

The fine pitch threads dirctly benearth the head capture the mushroomed composite decking material, pulling it back down into the screw hole. The low profile head incorporates a small ridge on its underside which is designed to capture any remaining material for the cleanest install ever! #2 Square Drive. Made in Taiwan.
