Comments about 10 x 1-3/4 Wood Screws, Unplated Steel, Flat Head, Square Drive:
I used the #10 x 3" to frame in a basement. They are quite strong, and really pull the boards snug to each other. I did not want to get out the compressor to shoot 10d nails. It was not necessary, but I often drilled pilot holes to facilitate starting the screws. The 1 3/4" will be used for the plywood siding.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Professional
We design, build, duplicate, repair and restore furniture and nothing is worse than having a screw break during final assembly of a project! Most time it requires us to remove the assembly to remove the broken screw & starting over and that means we aren't making money when we are correcting mistakes. We've been using McFeely's hardware for several years now and have virtually eliminated broken screws. They have a truly professional product which saves us time and money. They cost about the same as your local hardware store and McFeely's quality can't be beat. If you are looking for a great screw, McFeely's has it!
