Add a Black Oxide plating to our standard hardened steel round washer head screws and what do you have? A high-tech looking screw that can be left exposed for decorative purposes! Use them wherever a finished appearance is desirable. Note that black oxide is primarily a decorative coating, and provides minimal corrosion resistance. Comments about 10 x 1-1/2 Wood Screws, Black Oxide, Round Washer Head, Combo Drive:
I am building hard maple pasta boards for Christmas gifts for my kids and a friend. The boards are glued and biscuited with bread-board ends and thus no fasteners. I however wanted the table hook to be replacable/removable using screws but.... not just any screw would do. I had searched every source that I had normally used for fasteners with no success. Then I finally found "the one" on McFeely's website. Thanx!!!!!
