These zinc plated screws have the bright silvery finish common on hardware store hinges, wood screws, and bolts. Like our other plated screws, these are hardened steel screws. Clear Zinc plating is primarily decorative, but does offer moderate corrosion resistance. It is ideal as an exposed fastener for interior applications. If true corrosion resistance is needed, No-Co-Rode, Stainless Steel, silicon bronze, or solid brass are better choices than zinc plated screws. Available in Square Recess only. Due to usage variables, we cannot guarantee these screws against corrosion. Made in USA/Canada/Taiwan. #2 Square Recess.

Screws are easier to drive using the square head
