Screws optimized for Versatex with custom plugs for an easy to install ‘hidden’ look
Versatex is a popular material to use for hiding trim screws. It’s important to make sure you’re using the right fastener for long-term corrosion protection and for the aesthetic appearance of your new trim. FastenMaster’s Cortex Trim screws have been rigorously tested by both FastenMaster and Michigan State University.
The Cortex Versatex Trim Screw also uses a unique countersinking driver bit (three are included with each 375 pack and six with every 1125 pack of screws) to drive the screw to the exact depth necessary for covering it with a pre-engineered plug designed to match your material.
The Cortex Trim screw is warranted for use in ACQ, Copper Azole pressure treated lumber. Approved by Versatex. Plugs pictured are gray, actual plugs will match Versatex- Trim Smooth material. Available in 250 lineal ft. (375 pcs) and 750 lineal ft. (1125 pcs)trim packages. Made in USA.
