Whether you want the high tech look of exposed flat black screw heads, or just don’t want to bother with countersinking, but don’t want to see a shiny screw head, these black oxide plated flat head screws will be just the ticket. Black Oxide offers very little corrosion resistance though, so use in humid environments, wood with a high moisture content, or highly acidic woods like oak may result in some discoloration. For reference purposes, this finish is used on most socket head cap screws and other automotive style machine screws. Available in Combo Recess only. Made in US/Canada/Taiwan. #2 Square Recess.

I have used these Screws for a few years from Mcfeely's , and just found them very easy to use ,and extremely usefull in many wood applications . Highly recommend them , just make sure to order the matching driver tool for your drill when ordering if you don't already have it.
