You’ll be amazed at the difference an auger point makes on a stainless steel square drive screw. Great for use with pressure treated wood or premium materials like redwood and wester red cedar because they are truly self-drilling. Passivated type 305 stainless steel provides even more corrosion resistance than the usual type 304 stainless (a bit of nickel really helps). Be sure to test or predrill when you install at the end of a board. Requires a #2 Driver Bit. Note the non-standard head diameters. Made in Taiwan. Head diameter: .344

Using Western Red Cedar lap siding as an inside finish in a bare-bones cabin in the woods. These screws work very well and being stainless steel will not rust do to moisture when the cabin is not use in the winter time.
