Now there is a deck fastener with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel and the installation ease of square drive, and virtually hides in plain sight as well! This patent pending fastener is perfect for use with premium materials like Composite Wood Decking (Trex for example) or tropical hardwoods such as Ipe. Made of 305 stainless steel for corrosion resistance in most non-marine environments, these auger point screws feature an epoxy coated head in colors selected to blend nicely with the commonly available deck materials. Seating the screw slightly below the surface will minimize the inevitable wear associated with foot traffic. Made in Taiwan.
