Now there is a deck fastener with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel and the installation ease of square drive, and virtually hides in plain sight as well! This patent pending deck fastener is perfect for use with premium materials like Composite Wood Decking (Trex for example) or tropical hardwoods such as Ipe. These auger point, 305 stainless steel screws feature epoxy coated heads in colors selected to blend nicely with the commonly available deck materials. Seating the screw slightly below the surface will minimize the inevitable wear associated with foot traffic. Made in Taiwan. Approximately 123 screws per pound.

these are great screws for installing synthetic fascias and the like. The brown was a perfect match for the redwood/mahogany Aeratis Fascia boards on a porch I am currently building. The square drive screws have been driven with an impact driver and very few(of the hundreds I have installed) have cammed out.
Good for outdoor furnature, too....

Inferior screw, will not buy again

I have used mcfeely's square drive for 20 yrs. this is the first time that 15% of the time i could not get the screw completely flush w/o camming out. Very dissappointed with the quality. Sorry to say it, but they did not perform well.
