You’ll be amazed at the difference an auger point makes on a Square Drive stainless steel screw! Great for use with pressure treated wood, or premium materials like Redwood and Western Red Cedar because they are truly self drilling. Passivated type 305 stainless steel screws provide even more corrosion resistance than the usual type 304 stainless steel screws (a bit of extra nickel really helps). Avoid any potential for splits: be sure to test or pre-drill when you install at the end of a board. Pilot holes may be required in some applications. Note the non-standard screw head diameters (.344). Made in Taiwan.
