Rebuilding a 1960 Chris Craft

I am currently rebuilding an old Chris Craft boat. I have been purchasing silicon bronze screws from McFeely's that I also got super fast delivery.I purchased these SS pocket screws for some odd fastener places on the boat.Their deliveries are so fast I don't even get to loaf for a day.I hope they keep the dollar shipping charges forever!!
I ordered the 1 1/2" and the 2 1/2" Kreg

I ordered both the 1 1/2" and the 2 1/2" Kreg stainless steel pocket screws I found them too soft and even with the proper square drive bit they easily stripped out I did not use any of them in the end and went to the local box store instead and purchased both the 1 1/2" and 2 1/2"in green treated deck screws and had much better results. I do not find fault with McFeely's in this regard and I consider it just an expensive lesson learned.
