The SPAX Stainless Steel Multi-Material screws come with a partially threaded shank and incorporate the patented serration pattern. Made from 18-8 stainless these are suitable for outdoor use. The have a Combo recess.

I plan to use this product to provide a strong joint between the hull and wood rail on a classic Allied 30 ketch. I will not be able to do the complete job until Spring. However, I tested one of the SS screws and it seemed to do the trick.
