Whether you want the high tech look of exposed flat black screw heads, or just don’t want to bother with countersinking, but don’t want to see a shiny screw head, these black oxide plated screws will be just the ticket. Black Oxide offers very little corrosion resistance though, so use in humid environments, wood with a high moisture content, or highly acidic woods like oak may result in some discoloration. For reference purposes, this finish is used on most socket head cap screws and other automotive style machine screws. Available in Combo Recess only. Made in US/Canada/Taiwan. #2 Square Recess.

The color and size were the most important thing from this screw and that was Excellent! Wish I could have gotten a finer thread as that makes it go into the wood hall brackets I am making lots easier.
