Comments about 8 x 5/8 Wood Screws, Zinc Plated Steel, Pan Head, Combo Drive:
I used these screws to replace origional screws furnished with Piano Hinge. The origional did not mount flush to hinge. This Pan Head screw is not flush with hinge but it doesn't leave a sharp edge protruding above service of hinge.
Exactly what I expected

Used these to install heavy duty drawer slides for pantry shelves. Coarse thread design makes installation fast and reduces the chance of stripping the pilot hole. Not self tapping, so drill a pilot hole, especially in hardwoods.

Comments about #8 x 5/8'' Zinc Plated Steel Pan Head Screws:
I had looked all over for a good deep threaded screw to use for hanging my heavy hickory doors to the faceframe of my cabinets and this is the perfect one to use. It is very strong and holds the doors hinges tight against the faceframe.
