You’ll be amazed at the difference an auger point makes on a Stainless Steel Square Drive screw! Great for use with pressure treated wood, or premium materials like Redwood and Western Red Cedar because they are truly self drilling. Passivated type 305 stainless steel provides even more corrosion resistance than the usual type 304 stainless (a bit of extra nickel really helps). Avoid any potential for splits: be sure to test or pre-drill when you install at the end of a board. The shallow, #1 recess of Trim screws requires caution to avoid cam-out - pilot holes are recommended in most materials. Screw head diameters are 0.230. Made in Taiwan.

Comments about 7 x 3 Self-Drilling Wood Screws, Stainless Steel, Trim Head, Square Drive:
A good solution for somewhat tender exterior elements that need to be refastened. Need no drilling and are inconspicuous.
