You’ll be amazed at the difference an auger point makes on a stainless steel square drive screw. Great for use with pressure treated wood or premium materials like redwood and wester red cedar because they are truly self-drilling. Passivated type 305 stainless steel provides even more corrosion resistance than the usual type 304 stainless (a bit of nickel really helps). Be sure to test or predrill when you install at the end of a board. Requires a #2 Driver Bit. Note the non-standard head diameters. Made in Taiwan. Head diameter: .344

I used the screws for an outdoor wine barrel cooler. So far the screws are holding well through the metal straps and into the staves. Its only been 2 weeks in the rain and cold but they still look good.
