Designed for Drawer Slide Mounting!
Now you can get that ultra clean finished look when installing European drawer slides. This drawer slide mounting screw offers an undercut head which allows the head to seat flush in the mounting hole and does not allow the head penetrate into the material like the taper under the head of a traditional flathead. These work nicely with our Austrian Mepla-Alfit Slides but can be especially useful when installing Asian manufactured Euro style slides (such as Ruca® brand) that tend to use smaller mounting holes. It is advisable, however, to use a self-centering bit such as our #MS-5107 (7/64" drill) just to make sure everything is nicely aligned. Zinc plated, #2 Phillips drive, made in Taiwan.

Comments about #6 x 5/8'' Zinc Plated Undercut Head Screws:

I originally bought these screws for installing drawer slides on an upcoming project. In preparing for the project, I built a cross-cut sled for the table saw and had to install some "Tee-Tracks". These screws worked perfectly because the undercut head ends up just below the surface of the track so the Tee-bolt does not rub on it. Worked great!
