Surely there couldn’t be any other reason for their pitiful quality. That’s why we offer our standard steel screws with a Brass Plating. They are primarily for decorative applications, so we offer these in the sizes most popular for that purpose. For sizes not listed, Yellow Zinc is often a very suitable substitute. Little corrosion resistance is provided by the bright plating applied to our standard hardened steel screws. These are available only in our standard Square Recess drive type.
