These screws have been specifically designed for use with the European 32mm system of cabinet components. They are perfectly sized to the standard mounting holes on Mepla / Alfit drawer slides and most other brands as well. Unfortunately, they are not yet available in square drive; use #2 PoziDrive bits.

Not Blum, Poor Quality

McFeely's sells good fasteners. The Spax are made in Germany and the US. I assumed that these "Euro screws" were made by Blum. They are made in Taiwan. I bought them to top up some Blum screws. The quality difference is really clear side by side, and the head striped easily when I used them.The tip ends are rough and threads are not nearly as sharp. Worse, they look like phillips with a stamped indent to make them posidrive, unlike the Blum which are machined much better. I've never had a problem with the driver slipping or stripping a Blum screw, but I did with these.

This was exactly as ordered, worked perfectly. I was really impressed with the catalog describing all types of screws. I even went to my local hdwe store and found most of the staff didn't know the difference between screws. Defintly will order ahead on my next big project.

My daughter bought a metal tube frame loft bed at a yard sale and it had these peculiar screws mounting the desk underneath the bed. Some were missing and I couldn't find anything locally to match; but browsing McFeely's site, I noticed these "Euro" fasteners. They were exactly what I was looking for!
Good fit for Ikea cabinet hardware

Interchangeable with Ikea cabinet screws. Works well to add fastenings to Ikea cabinets. Probably not as useful for screwing into real wood - overkill.

The idiots that installed my $60k cabinets used 10mm screws which pulled out on several of the heavy drawers. I was able to replace all of wrong size screws with the 14.5mm length which worked perfect! Gotta love it when you can do a better job than the "professionals".
