How often have you carefully matched the grain of the plugs you cut, only to find that the hole is a fraction oversize so that the glue line makes each plug look like a miniature bulls-eye? Snappy Plug cutters are tapered so that they form a tight fit. For best results, always bore to the maximum depth of the cutter. Once you drill the plug, simply pop it out with a screwdriver; then insert the chamfered end in the hole. Tap it with a hammer. Trim the remaining plug, flush to the surface. Recommended drill speed is 800-1,000 rpm for plug cutters 1/4" to 5/8" and 400-800 rpm for 3/4" and 7/8" plug cutters. Plug cutters 1/4" to 5/8" have 1/4" hex quick change shanks while the 3/4" and 7/8" have a 7/16" hex shank. Made in USA.
