We carry blades with two different tooth styles. The "Regular" tooth is a general purpose configuration suitable for both contour sawing and cut-off work. The "Skip" tooth is designed for resawing and ripping of thick materials. By omitting every other tooth, the blade holds more chips between teeth, resulting in a faster, less demanding cut. However, surface finish quality is reduced, since fewer teeth are available to make the cut.
